The 2008 season has seen an improved focus on coach education from the East Perth District, in conjunction with its affiliated WAFL club, the East Perth Football Club. Through this joint approach, we are pleased to be able to offer our District coaches with a series of seminars aimed at improving their knowledge base and awareness of modern day coaching methods and practices.

It has become evident that coach education and development is one of the single most important factors in creating positive playing, training, and learning environments, as well as in recruiting and retaining players and volunteers.

The East Perth District is committed to the continuous development of the football environment, as well as the people and volunteers within it. We look forward to working closely with all stakeholders and coaches within the District in the coming years to ensure a collaborative approach is undertaken in our mission:

To secure the future of Australian Football in the East Perth District by continually improving the quality of our product and increasing levels of participation.
