Juniors

At the younger level, girls are encouraged to join their local Auskick centre where they can learn the skills of footy in a fun, safe environment.

Coolbinia Bombers JFC provide an exclusive opportunity for girls to play footy down at the Bomberettes All Girls Auskick Program. With over thirty girls involved in 2010, the Bomberettes also feed into a junior side and provides an excellent playing pathway for females in the game.

In 2012, the East Perth District will be implementing two new All-girls Auskick centres in Morley and Beechboro.

Throughout the year youth age girls also have an opportunity to play our great game through high school competitions.  This year, we are planning to introduce club-based competitions for girls in primary and secondary school.

The Youth Girls WAFL carnival also provides a great opportunity for East Perth District girls to proudly represent the district and go head to head with teams from the other eight metropolitan WAFL districts as well as country teams from areas all across the state.
