The East Perth Football Club is seeking expressions of interest to fill the role of Property Steward for 2009. This is a part time role which will see the successful applicant assisting the Club with the distribution of property on training nights as well as home & away games.

The East Perth Football Club is delighted to announce that Mark Winnett is the new Football Manager of the Royals.  Mark was highly regarded as the Development Manager at the East Fremantle Football Club where he also played 33 games between 1998-2002 and is a key acquisition to the football department.

David Hynes is the final piece to the puzzle of the 2009 coaching staff as he has accepted a role to be the Royals reserves coach. He joins Tony Micale, Michael Braun and Matt Clape as recent additions to the coaching staff that look towards making the Royals once again a force in the WAFL.

AFL Recreational Football is non-contact, easy to play, can be played by all ages and genders and, most importantly, has emphasis on fun and safety. The Rules:

• Two teams of eight with unlimited interchange
• 3 zoned field – one mid and two scoring (forward) zones
• Forwards (only) take a set shot after marking and cannot ‘play on’
• If turnover occurs (ball to ground), opposition gains possession
• Absolutely no tackling or bumping; flag belts are used
• Marks are awarded irrespective of distance travelled
