The East Perth District is one of the largest football Districts in the metropolitan area with a population of over 200,000 people.
The East Perth District boundaries are as follows:
- Begins on the west side of Perth’s Central Business District working its way north up the Mitchell Freeway.
- At Green Street it goes east to before heading north again at Wanneroo Road then east at Morley Drive.
- The boundary moves north once more at the eastern border of Dianella taking in this suburb as well as Noranda, Malaga, and Alexander Heights.
- The boundary at the northern end includes the suburbs of Lexia and Ellenbrook before moving south along the City of Swan then City of Bayswater boundaries.
- The boundary at the southern end concludes at the Swan River, encompassing the suburbs of Leederville, Perth, Mt Lawley, Maylands and Bayswater.
- Other suburbs within the District include: North Perth, Bedford, Inglewood, Morley, Maylands, Ballajura, Beechboro, Embleton, Coolbinia and Mt Hawthorn.
