Reserves Coach Expression of Interest

The East Perth Football Club is currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants for the position of Reserves Head coach at the East Perth Football Club for the 2019 WAFL season.
The East Perth Football Club enters an exciting period ahead as we move forward once more as a standalone club within the WAFL competition. The club prides itself on the development and promotion of our young footballers and a continued focus on personal development both on and off the field.
As the Reserves Head Coach, you will be responsible for overseeing the clubs Reserve side during the week and on match days. You will be required to work closely with Club’s Head Coach Jeremy Barnard and other assistants within the senior program.
Your relationship with the Senior Coach will be vital in helping to identify opportunities for improvement in individual players. You will work closely with the player and individual line coaches to get the best outcome. Feedback and direct communication with players is critical to succeeding in this role.
You will also be encouraged to continue to develop all aspects of your coaching in a supportive, developing environment.
Suitable applicants must possess: 
Effective communication skills.
Ability to lead and influence.
Understand talented athlete identification.
Demonstrate structured and sequential planning within a football season.
Strong knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies.
Understanding of skill development learning strategies.
Understanding of the WAFC Talent Pathway
Ability to use vision to educate and instruct players and coaches.
Minimum Level 2 AFL Coach Accreditation
