Excellence in Coaching Awards are presented each year to football coaches who have shown excellence and measurable achievements through quality coaching techniques over a number of years.
From these nominations the "J J Leonard Medal" for Coach of the Year, "Ken Armstrong Community Coach" of the Year and the "Greg Brehaut Memorial Scholarship" will be selected. These awards are presented in recognition of three stalwarts of our national game in Western Australia. This year "Coach of the Year" awards will also be awarded in the following categories:
- Auskick,
- Modified Rules,
- Youth,
- Senior Community
- Female.
