The club would like to advise that Craig Glancy is on the mend after surgery to his left eye and eye socket earlier this week, as a result of an unprovoked “glassing” incident which occurred on Saturday Night whilst out with friends.
Craig has been into the club and was in good spirits speaking to club officials, although admitted he already misses the opportunity to hit the gym.
A follow up appointment is scheduled mid next week at which point the extent of the damage to his eyesight can be reviewed more closely, although a true indication of the damage may not be known for months as he recovers from the surgery.
According to thewest.com.au Police have apprehended the person they believe responsible for the attack and he will face court on October 7th after being charged with grievous bodily harm.
