Sunday morning saw the Landsdale Junior Football Club hosting yet another successful NAB AFL Auskick Gala Day. The 'Super 8s' Carnival is now in its 5th year at Kingsway Reserve and the day continues to grow.
The East Perth Colts umpired games for over 200 keen Auskickers and were also on hand along with coach Michael Braun to pass on some knowledge to the stars of the future!
East Perth District manager, Darren von Bergheim emphasised Gala Days are all about the players enjoying the game. “The day is all about developing skills and playing the game, and is a chance for the kids to meet kids from other clubs,” he said. “A lot of the East Perth players came from these clubs so it’s a good way for them to give back to their roots.”
