The East Perth Football Club is delighted to announce that it has signed key forward Adam Prior from the Ovens & Murray league in country victoria for the 2010/11 WAFL seasons.

Adam is a proven goal kicker and was the leading goal kicker for the Murray Bushrangers in 2004-05 and holds the single season record for the Bushrangers with 85 goals.

He was taken at pick 59 in the 2005 AFL rookie draft by the Sydney Swans before returning to North Albury in 2007. He has twice led the Ovens & Murray goal kicking tally in 2007 (67 goals North Albury) and 2009 with the Wodonga Raiders where he finished with 79 goals in a team which did not play finals football.

Football Manager Mark Winnett said “Adam will provide a very strong focal point up forward for us, he is a genuine strong marking, hard leading full forward who at 22 yrs of age has a lot of good football ahead of him.

Quality forwards are hard to come by, we are genuinely excited about what Adam will bring to our football club and hopefully it is the start of a long association between Adam Prior and the East Perth Football Club”
