Recently retired Andrew Mills will join the Royals coaching panel in 2010 taking charge of the forward line following the departure of Mat Clape due to family reasons.

Andrew made his debut in 2005 after playing 11 games with Richmond and finished with 54 league games at the Royals.

Tony Micale stated that he was pleased to give Andrew an opportunity following his retirement and “We believe Andrew has a lot to offer the Club still, he was a very smart, creative player with a great rapport with his team mates. We think he can impart his knowledge and experience gained at both Richmond and East Perth on developing our forward line”

Along with Andrew Mills, former Subiaco chairman of selectors and assistant coach Cam Shepherd has joined the Club as midfield coach with David Hynes concentrating on the Reserves and the development of the young players in his team.
