2014 WAFL Fixtures
East Perth won’t have to wait long to seek redemption against last year’s Premier, West Perth, in the Grand Final rematch.
The 2014 WAFL Fixtures released today in The West Australian, revealed that the Royals’ Round four clash will be the first of two games played between the club’s at Medibank Stadium, while the Cardies will host the Foundation (WA) Day derby at Arena Joondalup on Monday, June 2.
The Royals’ will play a twilight game against co-tenants Subiaco on Good Friday and will play on Anzac Day weekend against Perth at Medibank Stadium on Saturday, April 26.
The State Game will be played against the North East Australian Football League on May 24 in Sydney, a few days before East Perth’s Round One knockout Foxtel Cup match against reigning South Australian Premiers, Norwood Redlegs.
Other significant rounds include NAIDOC Round (Round 15 v. Peel), Men’s Health Round (Round 12 v. South Fremantle) and Count Me in Round (Round 21 v. Perth).
The club will sit out three byes in Round 9, Round 14 and Round 17.
Finals are scheduled from September 6, with the Grand Final to be held on Sunday, September 21 at Patersons Stadium.
