East Perth AGM
The East Perth Football Club has announced a net surplus of $341,153.00 for its financial year ending the 31st of October 2015 at its Annual General Meeting.
Whilst revenue from ordinary activities was slightly down from 2014, further lowering of expenses from operating activities attributed to this positive result for the Club.
‘The club is very pleased with the financial result of 2015’ CEO Dean Turner said. ‘We are hoping that kicking goals like this off the field gives our boys the opportunity to play their best football and reach their full potential’. ‘Results like this allow us also to give back to our local District zones of the inner metropolitan area as well as the South West’.
The nomination of Kenyatta Cowley for Life Membership from Greg Ferguson was also ratified at the AGM. Ken started as a trainer at East Perth in 2003. Ken acted as Head Trainer in 2006 before accepting the role in 2007. Ken has worked for a variety of teams in conjunction with his duties at East Perth. Ken has been a very important part of the support staff setup for 15 years. His role in the Club is to train and guide his team of trainers. His enthusiasm for his work and the club means he is able to retain the services of his trainers each season.
