The 2008 season will see a huge leap forward in Coach Education and Development in the East Perth District, mainly due to the partnership between the District and the East Perth Football Club.
It has become evident that coach education and development is one of the single most important factors in creating positive playing, training, and learning environments, as well as in recruiting and retaining players and volunteers.
This year, a number of quality presenters will be available to pass on coaching tips and practices to an audience of junior and senior community coaches, including:
- East Perth League Coach Glen Bewick
- WA Football Commission High Performance Coach Robert Wiley
- Physical Presence Specialist Dr. Les Fabre
- East Perth Football Club Coaching Staff
Both the District and the Football Club are committed to the continuous development of the football environment, as well as the people and volunteers within it. It is important to work closely with all stakeholders and coaches within the District in the coming years to ensure a collaborative approach is undertaken in our mission:
To secure the future of Australian Football in the East Perth District by continually improving the quality of our product and increasing levels of participation.
