East Perth Banquet Auction
The annual East Perth Banquet Auction was held at the picturesque State Reception Centre at Kings Park on Thursday night. The 280 strong crowd battled Pokémon enthusiasts for a parking spot before enjoying the balmy weather during the outside reception.
This year’s auction contained over 250 items between the live and online auction. Our Master of Ceremonies and East Perth Director David Christison conducted proceedings with the best auctioneer in Australia Tiny Holly entertaining the crowd during the main auction.
The auction is the Clubs biggest fundraiser and does not happen without many generous supporters. Thanks must go to Chris Taylor and the team at Fraser’s Restaurant for hosting us. The food was tremendous. To all our donors and winning bidders, who in this tough economic climate, still managed to help us out with some outstanding items and generous bids, your generosity is greatly appreciated. The club is also extremely fortunate to have a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure the night is a success.
In total the night raised in excess of $125,000 for the club which will go to the continued improvement of club facilities for both players and members as well as developing our junior programs in the inner metro area and the South-West.
Once again thank you to everyone who made this year’s auction a success
