Wednesday, October 20, 2021 - 12:04 PM

The Club is excited to announce that Hamish Brayshaw has signed a two-year agreement that will see him play for the Royals in seasons 2022 and 2023.

The 23 year old who was recruited by West Coast from the Sandringham Dragons, where he played under Royals Coach Jeremy Barnard, played 8 games for East Perth in 2018.

East Perth beat out a number of other WAFL Clubs for Hamish's prized signature.

A hard working Mid/Forward Brayshaw has become a noted ball winner in the WAFL. A natural leader, the Club is looking forward to Brayshaw having a positive impact on and off the field.

“The club is rapt to have Hamish on board for 2022 and beyond and we are looking forward to what he can bring to our group from both an on and off-field perspective.” Football Manager Warren Parker said today.

“Hamish is highly regarded and respected as a character by all who know him which is exactly what we are targeting when bringing players into the club. Players that can not only play at a high level, but bring leadership, selflessness and a strong work ethic. Hamish ticks all of those boxes.”

Parker continued “We see Hamish adding some real depth and ball winning ability to our group and expect him to have an instant impact at the club.”

Hamish will wear #22 for the upcoming season.

Pre-season training will commence in mid-November.
