VOLUNTEERS FOOTY CARNIVAL RETURNS IN 2022

We’re excited to announce that the Metro Central region will be staging the Volunteers Appreciation Footy Carnival for clubs within the Demons, Royals and Swans Districts on Friday, June 3rd at Noranda Hawks JFC.

Yes, you’ve heard it correct. A social footy carnival for the amazing volunteers at our 38 Junior Clubs.

This free social carnival is available to all club volunteers who want to be part of the experience of playing footy, with the added benefit of representing your Junior Club.

You need not worry about your skill level, the format of this carnival is 7 or 9 a side AFL9s and will be played in either mixed or men’s divisions.

AFL 9s is a social, touch only version of AFL football. It’s played outdoors on a rectangular field and requires the usual AFL skills, minus the tackling.
