Friday, October 23, 2015 - 9:49 AM

East Perth is proud to announce that former Richmond, Carlton and East Perth player Adam Pickering has been appointed as our new Colts coach for 2016.
Adam takes over the role from long time club servant Pat Litherland who coached the colts for the 2015 season.

The East Perth Football Club would like to thank Pat for his hard work with the colts squad during the 2015 season and wishes Pat all the best for his future coaching aspirations.

Adam has been the Reserves coach at East Perth for the past two seasons having returned to the club from a 2 year coaching stint at Perth Football Club.

“The football club is genuinely excited with the appointment of Adam as our new colts coach. One of his key aims will be to increase the level of professionalism on and off the field within our Colts group and to implement a strong development program for our colts players to benefit from.” Football Operations Manager Mark Winnett commented.

“Adam is a long time ‘Loyal Royal’ having played 111 games of League football for the club and his efforts with our Reserves squad in the past 2 seasons have been outstanding from a development perspective”

“With a very talented group coming through our colts system in the next couple of years we believe Adam’s experience as a player and having worked very closely with Brian Dawson and Jaymie Graham over the past couple of seasons in our senior program, that this experience will be invaluable to the development of our youngsters from our metropolitan and country zones.

The club is currently in the process of appointing a replacement Reserves coach.
