Locked in: WAFL start date confirmed

Mark August 1 on your calendar – a start date has been set for the 2020 Optus WAFL Premiership Season.

The West Australian Football Commission met with WAFL club officials on Friday to decide the future of this year’s competition, which has been postponed since March 16, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Barnard: Players back fit and healthy

East Perth league coach Jeremy Barnard has confirmed his players returned fit and healthy to training at Leederville Oval this week.

As part of the State Government’s roadmap to recovery, sporting clubs were able to begin non-contact training in groups of 20 from Monday.

Anderson Announces Retirement

Parker still bullish about 2020

When Warren Parker took the reins as Football Operations Manager at East Perth earlier this year, he couldn’t have predicted how his first couple of months would unfold.

Parker started with the club in the first week of March, and a little over a fortnight later, the WAFL season was postponed as restrictions were put in place to slow the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

Royals Community - Chews for Roos initiative awarded Healthway grant

In 2019, Mount Lawley-Inglewood Junior Football Club put its heart and soul into creating a new, healthy canteen for players, spectators and visitors to Inglewood Oval.
